TinyTreks is now TinyClimbs

August 13, 2026·2 min read

Short one.

The site we launched earlier this year as TinyTreks is now TinyClimbs. Same team, same library, same free printable activity books. New name, new URL: tinyclimbs.com.

Why the change

The old name kept confusing people. "Treks" reads like hiking. Every second person who heard the name asked which trail app it was, or whether it was a kids' walking club, or if the maps were free. It wasn't a subtle mismatch — the word was pointing away from what the site actually does.

What the site actually does is small daily wins on paper. A maze after breakfast. A tracing sheet at the pediatrician. A coloring page on a rainy Saturday. Little climbs, not treks. Two-minute wins, not weekend expeditions.

TinyClimbs just fits better. A "climb" is short, achievable, and something a small kid feels proud of finishing. That's the emotional shape of the product. The name was fighting it before; now it isn't.

What's changing

  • The domain moves from tinytreks.co to tinyclimbs.com. The old address will redirect for a while.
  • The site UI, logo, and app icons will update over the next couple of weeks. If you see mixed branding in the meantime, that's why — we're rolling it through the web, iOS, and Android apps one at a time.
  • Bookmarks, favorites, and saved print packs all carry over. Nothing to migrate.

What isn't changing

Everything you actually use. The library. The generators. The print queue. The iOS and Android apps. The pricing (free). The people writing the copy and drawing the mazes.

If you have kids or students in the age range this thing was built for — roughly 3 to 10 — tinyclimbs.com is where the same site lives now. And if the old name never bothered you, apologies for the small disruption. If you were one of the people who kept asking about hiking trails, hopefully this is a relief.
