Everything we've made at TinyClimbs so far has been something you print yourself. You pick an activity, hit print, and hand a sheet to a kid. This is the first time we've put the printing in someone else's hands.
TinyClimbs Publishing now has two paperback activity books on Amazon.
The two books
Word Search for Kids Ages 6–8 is 60 themed word search puzzles in large print, with answer keys at the back. It's 86 pages, letter-sized (8.5 × 11 in), and meant for the age when a child can read the words but still needs big letters and a grid that isn't crowded.
The puzzles come from the same generator behind the word searches on tinyclimbs.com, tuned and laid out for a bound book: a consistent difficulty curve from the first page to the last, a theme per puzzle, and answers kept out of sight until you want them.
Road Trip Activity Book for Kids Ages 6–10 is 120 travel puzzles for the back seat, the plane and the hotel room. It has 30 trip-themed word searches (Gas Station, Hotel Night, Rest Stop, Welcome Home and more), 30 mazes, 20 kids' sudoku in 6 × 6 grids, 20 secret-code jokes to crack with a letter key, and 20 word scrambles. There's a puzzle tracker and a Road Trip Puzzle Champion certificate, and every answer is at the back. At 6 × 9 in and 144 pages it fits a backpack or a seat pocket, and the instructions are clear enough that a kid can work through it alone.
Why a printed book
The site is good at one thing: the right sheet, right now. It isn't good for a car journey, a waiting room, a gift, or a household without a printer. Parents kept telling us the same thing. They liked the activities, but they wanted something they could just pick up.
A paperback answers that. No printer, no ink, no stapling loose sheets. It also gives us a second route to families who'll never search for "printable worksheets" but do browse books for their kids.
What's next
More books across the activity types families use most on the site, such as mazes, tracing and early maths. We'll publish them in small batches so we can see what parents actually buy and keep.
The free printables on tinyclimbs.com aren't going anywhere. The books are for when you'd rather not print.
You can find everything we publish under TinyClimbs Publishing on Amazon.
